- Lovingly opposing the homosexual agenda...

Three fundamental concerns are driving the formation of the new citizens organization:

I. The negative impact of special rights initiatives on all businesses and property owners, with a particularly negative impact on faith- based and faith-inspired businesses and property owners.

II. The negative impact of special rights initiatives on every citizen's constitutionally protected rights to freedom of expression, freedom of religion and freedom of assembly.

III. The negative impact of the practice of homosexuality on the individuals who practice it and on the rest of the society.

The main multifaceted emphasis of the group is to defend Traditional Marriage as 'between one man and one woman', to respond to the controversy at the University of Notre Dame regarding homosexual activism at several levels, to respond to 'special rights for homosexuals' ordinances as they come forward in the Region and to facilitate help and ministry for those suffering from the ill effects of the homosexual lifestyle.

Urgent Action Alert

Re: The Public Battle for the Heart & Soul of Notre Dame Has Begun Locally It is time to ramp up the issue for a national debate . . .

Is the University of Notre Dame in South Bend Indiana about to become the next flash point in the culture war? It sure looks like it. A coalition of profamily Notre Dame Alumni from coast to coast have come together to form NoSpecialRights.Net and have launched a national campaign to"lovingly oppose the institutionalized homosexual agenda at Notre Dame and to ask for the resignation or removal of Notre Dame President John Jenkins for controversial decisions he made to allow the Gay Film Festival, the Vagina Monologues, and a campus wide promotion of the Homosexual Agenda at the University earlier this year. His actions have reportedly created consternation all the way to the Vatican. Public calls from Notre Dame Alumni for Jenkins' ouster have already begun in the South Bend Tribune.

At a recent gathering of profamily leaders in Washington D.C. Bill Bennett the former Secretary of Education during the Reagan Administration was asked about the homosexual agenda being promoted at Notre Dame. As a Catholic Christian, Bennett asked the question, "Is there no Priest in charge at Notre Dame?!" When the ND alumnus who asked the question answered, "Fr. John Jenkins", Bennett responded, "Well he's not doing his job!"

Bennett's advice to those fighting for the heart and soul of Notre Dame: "Remind them (Notre Dame's leaders) of their heritage."

That is exactly what NoSpecialRights .Net ( a special focus Task Force of Citizens for Community Values of Indiana) has been organized to do. We want to restore the dignity, holiness and purity of the university named after the Mother of Jesus. With your help now, we can rescue one of the great Catholic Christian universities from the coup of liberal professors who reportedly threatened Jenkins with resignations if he did away with the lewd manifestations of the homosexual agenda there.

- "Many Alumni and Professors believe that Jenkins should have called their bluff and showed them the door. If Fr. Jenkins is unable to stand up to these errant educators who are promoting the Homosexual Agenda at Notre Dame, then he does not deserve the honor of leading such a storied University" -- Patrick Mangan, ND '80.

The University of Notre Dame is located in the Diocese of Ft. Wayne/South Bend where John D'Arcy is Bishop. Although Bishop D'Arcy issued a public statement that Jenkins' decisions constituted an abuse of academic freedom, Jenkins remains defiant. In fact since that time he has now further institutionalized the homosexual agenda by adding "Coming Out Day" and "Solidarity Sunday" to the official Student Affairs calendar for the Core Council on Gay and Lesbian Students that is available on the University website (

There are over 100,000 active, living Notre Dame graduates. Many of them are supporters and staff members of leading profamily organizations. Most of them will be shocked and outraged to hear what is happening at the University. Most however do not know and will never find out unless our profamily friends work hard to get the word out. We need your help to reach them so they can weigh in and help us turn back the homosexual invasion of Notre Dame. Please share this information with every Notre Dame graduate and fan that you know.

If you are looking for more information, check out our Website at Read about the University President's defiance of the local Bishop as well as about the invasion of South Bend by homosexual activists from Chicago, Indianapolis, several college campuses and the despicable Kinsey Institute. Read how NoSpecialRights.Net got organized and stopped a pernicious law favoring the homosexual agenda. University of Notre Dame Law Professor Emeritus, Charles Rice, a nationally known profamily voice said that "if there was an Olympics for stupid legislation, this one would take the Gold Medal". Read how medical professionals, psychologists, attorneys, faith leaders, former homosexuals and civil rights leaders all lovingly opposed the homosexual activists and won.

Write to University leaders and let them know what you think about the University's recent actions. Tell them you want ND President John Jenkins to step down for bringing sexual and theological confusion to the young people of Notre Dame and all who are watching this sad spectacle. Thank the local Bishop John D'Arcy for calling Notre Dame back to its founding vision. Encourage him to stand strong. Call on University of Notre Dame Board of Trustees Chairman Patrick McCartan to take action before another young man or young woman is lost to the degrading behavior of the Homosexual & GLBT subculture. (All these addresses are on the NoSpecialRights.Net website) .Also check out to see why other Notre Dame voices are opposing the Vagina Monologues and the Gay Film Festival at Notre Dame.

From our family to yours, please send your Petition back today with your prayers so that we can speak on behalf of thousands to the University leadership: We need your support! Please consider sending a special financial gift to help us today! (Make checks out to "" and mail to the address below.) Let's help Notre Dame to shine with the light of Christ once more and reclaim college campuses everywhere for Him!
