NoSpecialRights.net - Lovingly opposing the homosexual agenda...

Three fundamental concerns are driving the formation of the new citizens organization:

I. The negative impact of special rights initiatives on all businesses and property owners, with a particularly negative impact on faith- based and faith-inspired businesses and property owners.

II. The negative impact of special rights initiatives on every citizen's constitutionally protected rights to freedom of expression, freedom of religion and freedom of assembly.

III. The negative impact of the practice of homosexuality on the individuals who practice it and on the rest of the society.

The main multifaceted emphasis of the group is to defend Traditional Marriage as 'between one man and one woman', to respond to the controversy at the University of Notre Dame regarding homosexual activism at several levels, to respond to 'special rights for homosexuals' ordinances as they come forward in the Region and to facilitate help and ministry for those suffering from the ill effects of the homosexual lifestyle.

Now Polygamists Are Rallying For "Special Rights" Too!!!

August 15, 2006

When we originally opposed the changes to the ordinance governing the human rights commission we pointed out that extending special rights and special status to anyone based on sexual practice would be a bad precedent. We also suggested that any number of groups wanting to be recognized for their brand of aberrant sexual behavior could be next in line. Now we are seeing the Polygamists come 'out of the closet' to publicly rally for their special rights too! They too are aimed at young people and trying to turn polygamy's most tragic victims --the children -- into its advocates as we have seen other sexual movements do.

Those who voted not to grant formal recognition and special status in the law for homosexuals and GLBT's were right to say no. The public policy implications of granting ligitimacy through the law to people on the basis of their sex acts is ominous.

Demanding that the government give special recognition and rewards on the basis of one's homosexual or bisexual sex acts is unreasonable and unwarranted. Demanding to be allowed to redefine marriage is also unreasonable and unwarranted. Marriage is between one man and one woman. Anything else would not be marriage. Human beings are either male or female, there are no other genders. Redefining gender beyond the undeniable biological facts is a mind game made up by sexual revolutionaries who want to re-engineer the very meaning of gender. The terms 'gender identity' and 'sexual orientation', much less 'percieved gender identity' are terms with serious implied legal consequences. Most legislators who use them either do not understand the gravity and implications of using them , or do understand and have been co-opted into a radical form of social engineering. Homosexual Activists however clearly understand what the implications are. The more citizens learn about the radical intentions of the homosexual agenda and it's implications, the stronger they are in opposition to it!
